About Immaculate Grid
The Immaculate Grid is a baseball-themed game that offers players a challenge in applying their knowledge of the sport to complete a 3x3 grid. It is an adaptation of the popular word game Wordle, tailored specifically for baseball enthusiasts and is also known as MLB Wordle.
To participate in the Immaculate Grid, players need to choose a player for each cell in the grid that fits the specific criteria defined for that row and column. These criteria might include factors such as teams, awards, and season statistics.
The primary objective of the game is to successfully populate the grid by selecting the appropriate players based on the provided criteria. It evaluates your familiarity with players, teams, awards, and statistics within Major League Baseball.
The Immaculate Grid delivers an enjoyable avenue for baseball fans to connect with the sport and challenge themselves daily. It melds the elements of puzzle-solving and baseball trivia to create an entertaining and engaging experience.
How to play the Immaculate Grid:
- Player Selection: Pick a player for each cell who meets the criteria set for the corresponding row and column. The player should have played at least one game for the team specified in that row.
- Award Criteria: In cells requiring both a team and an award, the selected player must have earned that specific award while playing for the designated team.
- Season Stat Criteria: For cells requiring both a team and a season statistic, the player you choose must have achieved the specified statistic while playing for that team.
- Rate Stat Criteria: If a cell necessitates a rate stat like batting average (AVG) or earned run average (ERA), the chosen player must have accumulated that stat over a complete season.
- Player Limitation: You cannot use the same player more than once in the grid.
- Guesses: You have a total of 9 attempts to complete the entire 3x3 grid. Each attempt is counted as a guess, whether correct or not.
- Active or Inactive Players: You can select both active and inactive MLB players for the grid.
Keep in mind that a new grid is generated daily, offering fresh challenges to players each day.
